Ageless Modric saves Real Madrid, La Liga leader beats Sevilla 1-0

Real Madrid won their La Liga match on Sunday, beating Sevilla 1:0 at home. The match was decided by substitute Luka Modric. Until then, the Spanish league leader had been struggling, but it doesn’t matter, because it has an eight-point lead on second place.

Youssef En Nesyri sent the first shot of the match in the eighth minute, but it was very inaccurate and missed the target. Two minutes later, Lucas Vazquez rejoiced with the help of the left post on the other side, but the head referee, after seeing the replay, went back to the foul and called off the goal.
