After a successful defense, Oliveira can look forward to a payday. How much did the stars earn at UFC 269?
UFC 269 offered some excellent fights. In particular, the main card was well-packed, with only one bout ending on points and the others being ended early. Who earned how much?

The happiest person of the night is probably Julianna Peña, who performed a miracle by defeating Amanda Nunes, arguably the best fighter of all time. Nunes fell after seven long years.
Thanks to her great performance, she also scored a solid payday in addition to her title. She would have cashed in $125,000 for the fight itself, but her win bonus is just as high, plus she received a $50,000 performance of the night bonus and received $32,000 from Venom.
So in total Peña earned 332 thousand dollars, converted to crowns it’s just under 7 and a half million. Still, her earnings are only the fourth highest.
More was earned by Dustin Poirier, who can take consolation for his loss with a sum of 382 thousand dollars (350 thousand per match, 32 thousand from Venus).
Amanda Nunes, whose account will land $442k ($400k per match, $42k from Venus), will be better off for the loss. The amount from Venus differs because she entered the match as champion, not challenger.
The champion Charles Oliveira, however, must be most happy about the funding. His first successful defense earned him $492,000, $92,000 of which was earned by the performance of the night bonus and by entering the match as champion, just like Nunes.
Converted to crowns, Oliveira earned just over 11 million, Nunes reached 9.9 million and Poirier 8.5.
Then Dominick Cruz (266k), Sean O’Malley and Tai Tuivasa (both 206k) also earned more than 200k.
Josh Emmet (162 thousand), Cody Garbrandt (146 thousand), Kai Kara-France (140 thousand) and Pedro Munhoz (126 thousand) broke the 100 thousand dollar mark.
Of course, the amounts are not official. The Sports Daily estimates them based on information gleaned from past games and official information that is public, such as the performance of the night bonus or amounts from Venus.
