Slovácko is waiting for a spectacular double match. One of the biggest in history. Today, the Moravian team will take on the famous Fenerbahce. Coach Martin Svedik has great respect for the Turkish side, which was very evident at the press conference.

Slovácko has not had the most successful start to the league, though, as they only drew 2-2 at Zbrojovka Brno. However, due to the losses of both Prague “S” and the loss of Pilsen Viktoria, it may not be too sorry.

Now the club is facing a much more interesting task. They will face one of the biggest clubs not only in Turkey. On Thursday, they will take on Fenerbahce in the penultimate round of the Europa League.

If the Moravians advance, they will face Austria Wien and secure their Conference League group. If they don’t, they will drop down one competition and will be one game away from the Conference League group. AIK or Skendija would be waiting for them there.

There were media reports in Turkey that coach Martin Svedik was talking about Slovácko’s clear promotion. ” I would never dare to say something like that. We respect all our opponents.”

“There is a huge quality on the Fenerbahce side. There is a lot of quality in Fenerbahce, both in players and facilities. We are facing a tough opponent and only our performance at the limit will lead to any success. Even that may not be enough.”

Slovácko will want to give their best on the pitch. They appreciate the fact that they can attend such a match at all. Svedik, however, showed perhaps too much respect at the press conference.

The coach of the Moravian club from Uherské Hradiště hopes that as many fans as possible will arrive at the stadium of the Turkish giant and that there will be a great atmosphere.
