A walker? Similar fighters are nothing regular in training, Aleksandar Rakic asks for a match
The situation in the UFC welterweight division is not close to being resolved. The title fight between Jan Blachowicz and Glover Teixeira has been postponed until October and Jiri Prochazka, who would like to fight for the belt soon, is constantly being pressured by Aleksandar Rakic.
The situation in the UFC welterweight division is not close to being resolved. The title fight between Jan Blachowicz and Glover Teixeira has been postponed until October and Jiri Prochazka, who would like to fight for the belt soon, is constantly pressured by Aleksandar Rakic.
Jiri Prochazka posted on social media on Monday about two people. In it, he criticizes both the champion Jan Blachowicz and the constant provocateur Aleksandar Rakic for instability of opinions.
Denis himself wants the shortest possible path to the title and when he has the opportunity, he wants to take it. But Rakic, who is also aiming for the title, disagrees.
Prochazka could have fought him in the past, but Rakic refused. But now that the Moravian fighter is closer to the title, Rakic is constantly picking on Procházka and making comments about him.
Most recently he did so in an interview with James Lynch. “I destroyed wrestlers like Procházka regularly in training. He has a dangerous style, but he has no defense,” Rakic was quoted as saying.
According to Rakic, Procházka only pushes forward recklessly and that is not a problem for him.
“No more bullshit, Jirka. Just me and you in Abu Dhabi a week before UFC 267, get it done,” Rakic tweeted, with organization boss Dana White also tagged in the post.
It will be interesting to see how the whole situation plays out and whether Prochazka will even agree to a fight with Rakic, which could otherwise be a risk.
