Prochazka? He was losing most of the game, I can’t look at him as a king. He lost some rounds outright, Hill was poking
Jiri Prochazka already knows the date of his next title fight in the UFC. He will fight at the UFC 295 event in New York, where legend Jon Jones will also compete. He couldn’t have asked for a better comeback, but now Jamahal Hill is back in his person.
Jiri Prochazka already knows the date of his next title fight in the UFC. He will fight at the UFC 295 event in New York, where legend Jon Jones will also compete. He couldn’t have asked for a better comeback, but now Jamahal Hill, who held the title but had to relinquish it due to injury,is now back in his person.
The card of the year? At least for Czech mixed martial arts fans. They’ve been waiting for the return of the Czech samurai to the cage for over a year, and now it’s becoming official.
He’ll be starting at November’s UFC 295 at New York’s Madison Square Garden, where legend Jon Jones will defend his heavyweight title against Stipe Miocic in the main event of the evening.
Jamahal Hill sews up the Walk again
After Jiri Prochazka announced last year that he had suffered a serious shoulder injury that caused him to relinquish his championship belt, the UFC’s welterweight division seems to have been hit with a curse.
The alternate title fight, which Dana White called “horrible,” ended in a draw. After that, though, Jamahal Hill won the vacant title, sending veteran Glover Teixeira into retirement. But when he was scheduled to defend his title, he suffered the same fate as the Czech fighter.
So he’s currently getting his act together, and in the meantime, he’s trying to create a trashtalk that will make him known to more and more UFC fans. Now he’s taken on Prochazka again and explained why he’s not the king for him.
“Ever since I became champion, people have been talking about how I only got my chance because Jiri gave it to me by generously vacating the title. Yes, that’s how it was. I got my chance because he got hurt. But when I got the chance, I grabbed it by the armpits.
I fought the same fighter he won the title with. But he beat Glover very narrowly and it didn’t take much for him to lose. Yes, he won when he was able to lock in the choke, but until then he was getting his a** kicked. He was losing most of the fight. So I can’t look at someone who was getting his [bleep] kicked as a king.
He lost some rounds outright, and we’ve seen him in trouble in the past when he’s been taking hard shots. You’ve never seen me naked. We’ve never seen me shaken. You’ve never seen me fumbling and in trouble. I’ve never been dominated.
That tells me I’m the king. Until I come back and get a chance to defend what is rightfully mine, I look upon myself as king. And I don’t care what the circumstances are, or how I came to the title myself. I’m just a king because I earned it,” Hill said.
But Walk doesn’t have to address his words at the moment. His clear goal is to beat Alex Pereira and then he can focus on Hill, who handled his last opponent rather smoothly.
