A walker as a career ender? It’s up to the fighters. I want to show live championship in every fight, says

Jiří Procházka will have an interesting challenge ahead of him after returning from injury. He will face a tough opponent in champion Jamahal Hill. But now he has gone back to the past in an interview when asked if he plans to be a career ender.
The former UFC champion was set to defend his title for the first time in December when he faced a rematch with Glover Teixeira. But he seriously injured his shoulder and was facing a long layoff. A lot has happened in the welterweight division in that time.
The title fight between Jan Blachowicz and Magomed Ankalaev ended in a draw, then Jamahal Hill and Teixeira fought for the champion’s belt, and the American was utterly destroyed by the American. The Brazilian eventually retired.
And Hill should be the next obstacle for the Moravian samurai. Jiri Prochazka, on the other hand, had a shootout with Khamzat Chimaev.
However, instead of the future, Procházka also revisited the past in a recent interview with Michal Hubnik. In fact, he was asked if he intends or wants to be a career terminator.
The reason is simple. Teixeira was extremely slow in the fight with Hill, as if he wasn’t him. Dominick Reyes continues to lose after a devastating elbow from the turnbuckle, and Volkan Oezdemir isn’t doing too well after hard grappling.
And the reaction of the Moravian fighter? “That’s up to them. Either you want it and you reignite the flame, you let your inner voice guide you and you listen to what are the key things you have to do to reignite the flame, or if you know internally that you don’t anymore, it’s good to follow,” Procházka says.
“When you follow your inner voice, you know very well with 100 percent certainty what to do. When you’re supposed to go in the cage and fight and be the best, you just go in there. It’s good to follow that voice. You always have to be free and not hold on to something too much,” he added.
Procházka himself confirmed that he knows in his heart and soul that he wants to fight and show spectacular performances, to show “living mastery” in every fight to the fullest. This is what motivates him to outdo himself and do whatever it takes to do so.
