A troubled Soucek calms West Ham fans: Now it’s going to turn around!

West Ham didn’t even score at the Etihad Stadium with Tomáš Souček in the line-up after losing to Wolverhampton. They lost 1:2 to Manchester City.

West Ham hold on to fourth place in the Premier League despite two straight losses. But they are already five points behind third-placed Liverpool, so they have to look below them in the table. Tenth-placed Leicester are only five points behind.

In the inserted round, the three Czech representatives will play Brighton. The south coast side has been struggling since October, but they are a good ninth in the table. The Hammers have a clear goal, to win and to leapfrog the competition.

“We have played three competitive games in a row away, now it will turn around. I believe that the fans will push us to the limit and we will repay them with a result,” Souček concluded.
