The Czech national football team failed to win their second match against Belgium, losing 0:3. However, they had several opportunities to score. But the offense always failed to score against the excellent Thibaut Courtios.

The team of coach Jaroslav Šilhavy could not keep up with the selection of Belgium, which won 3: 0. But the Czech team was certainly not without chances and could have scored several times.

Vydra and Hložek had their chances. The first one ran at goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois alone, but the latter kept him out with his foot.

Hložek shot with his left foot from a turn, but the Belgian goalkeeper did well to keep out the shot. How did the Spartans striker assess the match?

“Of course, every game like this helps us all. Playing against these great teams and against great opponents helps everyone, especially us young players. We had some chances and some hints. Matej Vydra went alone on goal, I had a good shot but Courtois kept us out.

It could have been a goal. I didn’t see my shot because I was falling, but Courtois caught it well. No wonder why he is catching for Real Madrid,” Hložek said after the game.

The first place in the group is most likely gone. But the Czech team still has a great chance to finish second and thus qualify for the barrage.
