A touching farewell to Sparta and a warm welcome in Leverkusen! Look at the attention Adam Hložek received

Adam Hložek has finally left Sparta for his first foreign assignment. On the day of the transfer, the social networks of both clubs basically turned into a message board for the Czech youngster. Sparta said goodbye to the 19-year-old offensive ace with a few posts, while Bayer Leverkusen welcomed their new signing with all their might!

Adam Hložek has been twisting and turning like a teenager for the last month and a half, and will celebrate his 20th birthday at the end of July. Probably every football expert will agree that the timing for the transfer couldn’t have been better planned.

He was one of the best players in the Czech top flight in the past 2021/2022 season, and that’s part of the reason why he needs a move up to the next level to continue his growth. This is the only way he can move to the next level in his career.

Sparta took to social network Twitter to recall the key moments that the Czech talent experienced in the red jersey. Adam jumped into the Prague derby on 2 May 2015 in the U14 category, but he was only 12 years old at the time.

17. on April 2022, he became the first player in Czech football history to collect 100 league starts before the age of 20. Sparta did not forget to mention Hložek’s last goal, which was scored on 15 May this year in Eden, as the icing on the cake! Hložek’s farewell goal gave Sparta a win (2::1) at the ground of their arch rival.

Bayer Leverkusen fans couldn’t wait for the official introduction after hearing from Fabrizio Romano that the Czech international was heading to their club.

Some wished for a joint video with Patrik Schick, but that didn’t come true, but the second top scorer of the Bundesliga did welcome his compatriot!
