Manchester United continue to rebuild their team. There are sure to be a few changes this summer, but for now, the Red Devils have released the list of players who are staying at Old Trafford, at least for now.
After 3 years at Old Trafford, Raphael Varane will leave for his next adventure. Meanwhile, the French stopper has formed a great duo with Lisandro Martínez. However, injuries have not been too kind to them and we won’t see them together in the red jersey again.
The once great talent Anthony Martial, who cost Manchester United a then high sum of 60 million euros in 2015, is also on his way out. So, unfortunately, he didn’t confirm his potential as a cannonballer, scoring 90 goals in 317 games for the Red Devils. His best season remains 2019/20, when he scored 17 goals in 32 league games.
The return of Jonny Evans was not successful either, although he started 30 games last season, but there was no change. Rather, he fell into the below-average ranks of the rest of the team. For now, his future is a question mark and will be decided more as time goes on if the management can bring in new reinforcements to the defense.
Other key Manchester United figures remain at the club for now, but one can definitely count on more changes in the team.

No major changes have been made to the youngsters. Perhaps only the once very promising flanker Brandon Williams leaves after a series of guest appearances for further adventures. However, the Crumpsall native is still 23 years of age and so is very likely to still catch on somewhere. Aside from the Red Devils, he has picked up experience from Norwich and Ipswich, where he spent last season.
