A problem for the Premier League? Some players refuse vaccinations

Although England is absolutely loose, it is mainly due to the high vaccination rate of the population. Spectators enjoy fully packed stands and are likely to have to comply with strict rules about being infection-free in order to attend the stadium. Their role models should therefore set an example.

But this is unlikely to happen. The Sun newspaper has reported that both England’s top competition, the Premier League, and the second highest competition, the EFL Championship, are facing a major problem.

A relatively large number of players are refusing vaccinations. The most common reasons are their own beliefs, but also religious reasons.

Clubs are naturally concerned that unvaccinated players may often be missed due to a positive test.

But an even worse scenario is the possible spread of the disease throughout the whole cabin. Which can cost teams both significant finances and sporting losses, both in the table and in training.

Recently a Championship team had to go into isolation due to an unvaccinated player testing positive. It is these minor issues that can greatly shake up the sporting form of teams and therefore it is definitely not a good idea to bet on the winners of individual competitions.

There are a lot of variables in football and therefore it is hard to predict what will happen. With this factor still intervening, the sport is really unpredictable.
