A miracle? No, Bayern could have left Villarreal with one hell of a beating. Can he turn it around?

It was quite a shock for those unfamiliar with Spanish football. Villarreal defeated Bayern Munich 1-0 in the Champions League quarter-finals, but not by a miracle, as they could have scored many more goals. But those who follow the Yellow Submarine regularly were not surprised by its strength.

Getting Bayern Munich in the quarterfinals of the Champions League? You could hardly find a tougher opponent. But this Villarreal will not back down from anything. David took on Goliath with all the vigour and the roles of favourite and underdog were reversed from the start.

Villarreal can do it against strong teams.
