Inter fans, like Barcelona fans, don’t sleep easy! The Milanese club is in financial trouble and has to sell. The departure of Romelu Lukaku to Chelsea is practically a done deal, and there is also speculation about the transfer of Lautaro Martínez to Tottenham. So the Italian outfit would have to quickly find a striker, which could be Manchester United’s Anthony Martial. It is this transfer avalanche that could be triggered by Harry Kane, who is being lured by Manchester City.

Inter’s two best strikers from last season (Lukaku 30 goals and Martínez 19 goals) led the Milan side to the coveted league title after years. But the club can no longer afford such luxury due to financial problems and is forced to sell.

The first to leave will most likely soon be the Belgian cannonballer, who is heading to Chelsea for a record sum.

Lukaku could then be followed by Martínez, who is being lured by Tottenham. In the case of the London outfit, however, it would probably be a reaction to the departure of the England captain.

Harry Kane is in Manchester City’s sights, but Spurs management doesn’t want to hear about the departure of their best striker. Neither do Inter in the case of Martínez.

But everyone has his price and if the Citizens management decide to go for their dream striker, it will most likely trigger a transfer avalanche.

In fact, according to several English websites, Inter would target Manchester United’s Anthony Martial in case the Argentine marksman leaves.

The French striker has been at Old Trafford since 2015, but he is still failing to fulfil his potential. Meanwhile, many fans are already allergic to his scorching chances and there is a large crowd who would welcome his departure.

Last season, Martial started 36 games, scoring only 7 goals and assisting 9 others. In doing so, he played most of the games as a top striker.

Moreover, after the arrival of Jadon Sancho, it is expected that Mason Greenwood will start to be more and more prominent at the top and thus there will be less and less space for Martial. Even more so when he can throw away so many created chances from his teammates.

That being said, both Tottenham and Inter don’t want to give up their key strikers, but the departure of one could trigger a number of the aforementioned transfers.
