England is the second finalist in the European Championship. The 2-1 win was decided by a goal from Harry Kane, who first missed a penalty, but made no mistake on the subsequent goal.

England were more active from the start and scored their first goal in the 12th minute when Raheem Sterling hit the centre of the net. At the other end, Pierre-Emile Højbjerg tried his luck, but he too only headed into the gloves of the goalkeeper.

In the 25th minute, Mikkel Damsgaard fired in a shot that just missed the target. Five minutes later, the Danish youngster scored from a direct kick, beating Jordan Pickford. In the 38th minute Raheem Sterling equalised on the foot of Raheem Sterling, but he just tricked the goalkeeper in a sure chance.

A minute later it was 1-1. Simon Kjær knocked Bukay Saka’s centre into his own net, Kasper Schmeichel couldn’t react. That was the last chance of the first half, and we went into the box with a 1:1 scoreline.

Harry Maguire’s header opened the second half, but Schmeichel made a great save. In the 64th minute, Mason Mount shot, but the Danish goalkeeper had no problem this time. The second half was not very exciting and it looked like both teams were waiting for extra time.

And since the English didn’t take their half chances, it was really thirty minutes of extra time.

Harry Kane’s shot opened the extra time, but it didn’t end up behind Schmeichel. In the 102nd minute, Raheem Sterling was fouled in the whitewash and a penalty was whistled. Kane didn’t score, but he made no mistake from the spot.

In the second half of extra time, Martin Braithwaite had the equaliser but his effort was blocked by John Stones. That was the last chance of the game and England are through to the Euro finals.
