A brutal elbow to the chin and his opponent went down! Did Larkin get KO of the year? Watch how he sent the Russian to dreamland
The American organization Bellator has a spectacular tournament behind it. It was mainly in the spirit of saying goodbye to the legendary Fedor Emelianenko. However, Lorenz Larkin also had his say, scoring a spectacular KO.

Bellator 290 delivered a great show. Beautiful endings, emotional moments. Nothing was missing. Only the ending, written by the legendary Fedor Emelianenko, could have been a bit more positive.
The 46-year-old Russian veteran couldn’t even keep up with Ryan Bader for the second time in his career, losing to him by TKO in the first round. But otherwise, he bids farewell to his career as one of the best heavyweights in the history of the sport, boasting an outstanding 40-7 record.
However, while Emelianenko has finished his story, the 10 years younger Lorenz Larkin continues his in excellent form. The American has won six of his last seven fights, with the last one ending in a no decision due to illegal strikes.
It happened in July in a fight with Mukhamed Berkhamov and it was in the first round. So it was more than adequate to arrange a rematch, which just happened at Bellator 290. And once again, it didn’t make it to the second round.
This time, however, thanks to a fantastic performance by Larkin. He landed a great elbow right on the chin and could only watch the Russian fighter fall to the ground. The whole fight lasted one minute and 41 seconds.
Larkin undoubtedly delivered a knockout that will be one of the best at the end of the year. And we won’t be surprised if we see him in various highlights. This is just great to watch.
At 36 years old, the American seems to be in the best shape of his life. He’s found himself back in Bellator after a not-so-good run in the UFC. It’s worth noting that he’s beaten stars such as Jorge Masvidal and Santiago Ponzinibbio.
