However, according to The Guardian, leaving for free is out of the question. The 20-time English champion wants to at least partially charge him so that he can use the money to pay someone who fits more of the Hague’s philosophy.

The English outfit pays Maguire nearly £217,000 a week. The former Leicester defender has a contract until 2026. Despite the fact that ten Hag acknowledges his professionalism, his departure is inevitable if only for financial relief.
