Guus Til had the first chance of the match in the seventh minute, but Aleš Mandous just made a save. In the twelfth minute the home team took the lead. Orkun Kökcü headed the ball in from outside the box and gave Mandous no chance.
Slavia seemed to have their heads in the booth, constantly making mistakes in the midfield, and in the 17th minute Bryan Linssen almost made it 2:0. In the 23rd minute, Linssen celebrated. He headed the ball into the penalty area.

It was not until the 63rd minute that Tomáš Holeš made a breakthrough in the air and Sšiovans were back in the game.
Slavia pressed, in the 75th minute Ivan Schranz shot from a volley, but the Red and White defence blocked his attempt. After that Feyenoord kept the game in hand, they tightened up and won the match 2:1.
