Kylian Mbappé has decided to stay at Paris Saint-Germain! The young French striker has done so after being offered a dream contract. It is also speculated that a condition was that he could also have decision-making opportunities at the club.
In the winter, it was taken for granted that Kylian Mbappé would leave French side PSG in the summer when his contract ends and become the new Real Madrid forward.
A verbal agreement was to be in place, not so much the written one, as the 23-year-old footballer was waiting to see what offer his current club would come up with.
PSG have in fact decided that keeping Mbappé is an absolute priority and money is thus not a factor. The player has already called Real president Florentino Pérez, who he told about signing at PSG.
It is questionable how much the player received for the signing bonus, but figures such as 120 or even 300 million euros are being bandied about!
On top of that, the player is supposed to take between 60 – 100 million euros a year. At Real, he should only receive 30, so it is logical that he decided to make this move. However, the following speculations are not exactly positive for the football world.
Allegedly, he would even approve the purchase and sale of players, in addition to deciding who will be the club’s sporting director. Most likely no player has anything like that in his contract.
However, it is not certain to what extent this speculation is based on truth. All that is certain is that if it is, it is certainly not good for the future of the sport we love so much.
