Real Madrid have already almost secured two summer signings. The first is Kylian Mbappé, who finally announced his departure from PSG a few days ago. According to the latest reports, Bayern Munich’s Alphonso Davies will also head to the Santiago Bernabeu.
Alphonso Davies is under contract at Bayern until the end of June 2025 and has been in talks with the Bavarian giant in recent days to extend his contract.
However, it seems that the Canadian defender will not agree on the terms of a new contract with the currently second team in the Bundesliga table. According to Diario AS, the German club’s management has often given in to the players’ demands for a new deal in the past.
However, that has now reportedly come to an end. Bayern are not going to give in to Davies, with the agent of the 23-year-old flanker demanding €13 million a year.
Available options are currently being probed by Real Madrid, who, according to foreign sources, have already agreed a transfer deal with the Spanish giant.
The situation in this respect is quite simple. If Davies doesn’t sign a contract extension in Munich, he will be for sale in the next summer transfer window so that he doesn’t leave for free next year. And that is of course very advantageous for Real.
Will Real Madrid get another signing?
Real Madrid are likely to snap up another signing this summer. One foot in the Spanish capital is already star Kylian Mbappé, who will leave Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season.
And although the summer transfer window has not yet begun, Real have very likely already secured a second significant signing. The Canadian Davies.
It should be noted that Real Madrid will not offer Davies the required salary either. But that doesn’t bother the Buduburam native, as he sees many other advantages in a potential Madrid deal. Among them are a young, star-studded squad, a friendship with David Alaba and, in short, life in the Spanish capital.
