Barcelona is really creative in the discipline of fan items. Recently it has come up with several items relating to the old Camp Nou stadium and now it is here with another atypical affair.

Not only Barcelona fans will have noticed that the famous Camp Nou is undergoing the biggest renovation in its history. This will result in a new, much more modern stand in Catalonia. The construction is scheduled to be finalised for the 2025/2026 season.

At the same time, Xavi Hernandez’s team play their home fixtures at the much smaller Estadio Olimpico with a capacity of just over 50,000 seats, drastically smaller than what was the case at their home Camp Nou.

In the context of the renovation and partial demolition of Barcelona’s ‘sanctuary’, the club has come up with a number of unusual fan items.

These include a cut-out part of the net, a frame, methacrylate or a minimalist model of the stadium with a piece of grass. There are also seats from demolished stands for season ticket holders. All from the last home game of the 2022/2023 season.

There are no limits to the imagination when it comes to souvenirs. All the souvenirs range in price from 50 to 80 euros, the seats around the 300 euro mark. However, the club has recently added an item many times more expensive to the eshop.

Specifically, diamonds. These are made up of, among other things, carbon, which was contained in the turf again on the occasion of the Culers’ last home game. the 0.5 carat stone is being sold for 2,500 euros,, and less than 2,000 of them will be available.

Its “bigger brother” with a value of 1 carat is then offered at a price of 15 thousand euros. The quantity of these premium items will be even more limited to only 57 pieces.

The diamonds, as the club states, are produced using a carbonization process followed by hand-cutting. Football enthusiasts can order the prestigious fan items from November 15.
