Nashville is not experiencing an ideal start to the new season. The Predators lost to Tampa Bay 3:5. After that, they won against Seattle 3:0, but then they lost to Boston 2:3, and the last time they lost to Edmonton.
It should be noted that the fate of this game was practically decided after the first period, when the Oilers took a four-goal lead.
First, Leon Draisaitl scored on a power play at 8:11, followed by Zach Hyman and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins. Connor McDavid put the finishing touch on the first period.
