Five things you probably didn’t know about Manchester United’s new signing Rasmus Hojlund

Manchester United will very soon officially announce the arrival of a new signing in 20-year-old striker Rasmus Hojlund. His price tag, with all bonuses, is expected to be in excess of €70 million.

Despite interest from other European clubs, led by PSG, the Danish striker eventually opted for Manchester United. A transfer that may be a big question mark for many.

Great record for the national team

In the six games he has played for the senior national team, he has managed to score six goals and holds a record of scoring a goal per game.

The Danish national team is in third place in the European Championship qualification table, thanks to the hat trick he scored in the Finnish net.

He has not scored a league goal in Denmark

During his time in Copenhagen, where he grew up playing football, he failed to score a single league goal in two years. It should be mentioned that Hojlund was not one of the starting line-up players at his young age, and he picked up starts from the bench.

Professional debut at 17
