UFC stars criticize the BMF title fight for the biggest badass on the planet and its participants!

This weekend, fans will be treated to another numbered UFC 291 event with a special main event. That’s because the winner of the rematch between Dustin Poirier and Justin Gaethje will hold the BMF title for the biggest badass on the planet. The selection of fighters and the belt itself has come under fire from critics of the UFC stars.

The BMF title for the biggest badass on the planet is vacant following the retirement of star Jorge Masvidal. As a result, UFC management will hold a fight for the vacant title this weekend, but it has not escaped criticism.

After Masvidal knocked undefeated Bellator champion Ben Askren unconscious with a knee in five seconds, he was given a huge, life-changing opportunity by UFC management.

But the vacant belt and the title itself have come under fire from critics

“This belt is for bums. I mean, who fought for this belt the first time? Masvidal and Nate Diaz. Two who could never be champions. That’s why they gave them the belt,” he made his opinion on such fights clear.

Poirier and Gaethje, despite being interim champions, never won the title. And they both fell to Makhachev’s mentor Khabib Nurmagomedov.

“Honestly, if someone wanted to give me the belt tomorrow, I don’t want this sh**, and that’s it. I can easily beat these guys without it,” he believes of the two actors in this weekend’s clash.
