Fabrizio Romano is currently one of the most recognized and respected figures in football journalism. He has now revealed how much time he spends on his phone during the transfer window.
What football fan wouldn’t know the name Fabrizio Romano at the moment? This football journalist has earned a huge amount of trust and appreciation from fans. His famous“Here we go” has become a symbol of the transfer season.
This Italian has become a very respected source of information over time, as he has countless connections to agents, journalists and other important figures in the world of football.
For many, his work can seem like something out of a dreamland. However, it is a very stressful and demanding job. Fabrizio can’t afford to be out of touch for longer than necessary and basically uses his free time to sleep.
He spends the rest of his time looking for new information and, above all, making phone calls to various sources, agents, club representatives. He makes up to a hundred phone calls a day.
If he wants information, he calls agents he knows first. If he doesn’t get what he needs, he calls club representatives and communicates with sports directors. He has a relationship of mutual respect and trust with everyone.
And how much time does he spend on his mobile phone? One Twitter user shared a post showing that his grandfather spent nine minutes on his mobile.
It was Fabrizio Romano who responded to the post, saying he was sending love to his grandfather and revealing his time active on his mobile device. On July 5, he spent 17 hours and 37 minutes on his phone.
It’s clear that he needs his phone for most of his activity, but considering the fact that this Italian also uploads videos to YouTube or streams, this time seems like really crazy.
The summer months are really tough for him, as he is the one from whom the vast majority of the wider footballing public expect information, and considering that with the various time shifts happening really constantly, he has no free time at all.
