For many months, there has been a wait to see if Conor McGregor would rejoin the USADA anti-doping program. A few weeks ago, it finally happened and fans were excited to see him in the cage at the end of the year. However, the opposite is true, the Irishman failed to meet an important condition.

A few weeks ago, it was leaked to the public that Conor McGregor is finally in the USADA anti-doping program and should be back in the UFC cage by the end of the year.

He’s a coach on the reality show The Ultimate Fighter and was supposed to face off against the other coach Michael Chandler, with public proclamations that it would be the biggest comeback in combat sports history.

Fans were excited, the return to reality was all the worse. The Irishman talked in public about a comeback, but there were other things going on behind the scenes. Today, it’s clear that a comeback is not in the cards and we definitely won’t see him in the cage in 2023.

“USADA’s athlete testing history was updated yesterday and did not include any samples submitted by Conor McGregor.

That doesn’t necessarily mean he hasn’t re-submitted to the program, however several inquiries to USADA regarding his status went unanswered,” reporter Aaron Bronsteter reported last week. And he was right.

The information has been confirmed, one of MMA’s most famous fighters did not meet the required deadline and for that reason he will not be allowed to fight this year.

Moreover, McGregor is also dealing with problems outside of this popular sport, a few days ago unflattering information about a possible sexual assault surfaced on him.
