Manchester United want to secure their key player. Is Rashford interested in moving on or will he opt for a transfer?
It would be very hard for any Manchester United fan to imagine Marcus Rashford leaving the club. Of course, the management doesn’t want that either, as they are working on a new contract for their youngster, with his current one expiring next year.

When coach Louis van Gaal sent Rashford on the pitch at the end of February 2016, everyone was curious to see how this young talent, who grew up just at Manchester United, would perform. The answer everyone got very quickly!
He scored two goals against Midtjylland and three days later repeated the same feat in his league debut against Arsenal, where he added an assist to his two goals and the Red Devils won 3: 2 – highlight.
Rashford has thus become a kind of hope for a better tomorrow after Sir Alex Ferguson’s departure and at 25 years old we can talk about a player who has finally matured and can pull his team without major fluctuations. At least that has certainly been the case this season.
The skilful Englishman scored 30 goals in 56 games and assisted 11 more. Erik ten Hag has relied on him and it can be expected that this will continue to be the case now that negotiations are underway to extend Rashford’s contract, which expires next year.
According to Fabrizio Romano and a few other English journalists, Rashford is very happy at Old Trafford and while there was speculation about his departure last year, this time around, a 99% contract extension is expected.
The Dutch coach has done a tremendous job over the past few months, something the English winger himself must feel, having gone through several years of hardship where no one has managed to lift the club to its former level.
It is Rashford, then, who should be one of the key figures in the club’s possible future success. Manchester United are expected to make a hearty reinforcement again this summer, although nothing concrete has been signed yet.
Therefore, it can also be assumed that the terms of the new contract will be significantly better and Rashford will become one of the highest paid players in the Premier League.
