Twenty-one-year-old forward Abdallah Sima finally scored. He scored his first goal in the French Ligue 1 on New Year’s Day in Lorient’s net. However, he then scored an own goal and Angers lost 1:2.

Abdallah Sima scored during his time with Slavia Prague. He had an excellent autumn and Susians decided to keep him until the summer, despite tempting offers.

But the new year brought a change. On the very first day, Sima scored his first Ligue 1 goal when he netted for Lorient.

In the tenth minute, he pounced on a well-taken corner and placed the ball behind the helpless goalkeeper Vito Mannone with his head.

The game was slowly coming to an end, but in the 79th minute Sima struck again. He scored an unlucky own goal to kick-start Lorient’s turnaround.

Angers also scored in the 88th minute and lost 1: 2. They are currently in last place and have a tough fight to keep their top spot. At the moment they are seven points behind.
