Jake Paul hasn’t yet tasted defeat, and so he is being heard more and more. The younger of the Paul brothers sets no small goals and challenges the more well-known MMA fighters to a boxing match all the time. Now, he’s leaning on Conor McGregor again.
Jake Paul is constantly trying to get the attention of increasingly famous fighters. He can make huge money with his boxing fights and would love to tempt the biggest names.
Conor McGregor hasn’t fought in a year and a half and is preparing for his return to the UFC, however Paul would love to do an exhibition with him.
McGregor hasn’t been very responsive to his calls, after all he is heavily connected to the UFC and its president Dana White literally hates Paul.
Now the challenge has come up again, this time a fan predicted that McGregor would soon show up in boxing matches, to which the famous Irishman responded.
“Oh, so I’ll definitely be doing that, will there be belts? Ha ha ha,” he tweeted. Paul immediately picked up on this and replied to the tweet.
“Are you fighting for the belts? You last fought for one four years ago. Plus you’ve lost your last three out of four fights.
I’d knock you out in the ring with one hand tied behind your back. But to be fair, I’d need two hands in the cage. But the result would have been the same,” Paul tweeted.
A response from McGregor can be expected to come no more. But Paul won’t just leave it at that, he needs attention and if he can’t get it, he’s going to be pretty cranky about it.
