Walk: There are a lot of fighters in the UFC with a vision of big money. It’s not about that. I heard Ankalaev beat Blachowicz. What does he say about Hill?

Jiří Procházka lost his title due to injury, but nobody is still holding it. However, that will probably change in January. Anyway, we have to say that the welterweight division is really active right now, and the Moravian fighter has noticed that and spoke about the current situation in the UFC.

Jiří Procházka lost his title due to injury, but still no one is holding him. However, that will probably change in January. Anyway, we have to say that the welterweight division is really active right now, and the Moravian fighter has noticed that and spoke about the current situation in the UFC.

The Moravian fighter has had the year of his life. He won the UFC welterweight title, however, he unfortunately got injured a few days before his defense and is now still getting his act together. It is expected that he will have to rest for some more months.

Walk appreciated Ankalaev

Jiri Prochazka has relinquished his title and it’s safe to say that his weight division is very active because of it. Jan Blachowicz and Magomed Ankalaev fought for the belt at the tournament where he was supposed to defend it, but the fight ended in a draw and no one won the belt.

The result of the fight was much discussed, Ankalaev and Chechen dictator Kadyrov did not look happy. And strangely enough, Procházka agrees with them. “Ankalaev won 100%. Everyone who saw it must have seen him win. But it was really close,” he opined on The MMA Hour.

Among other things, the South Moravia native praised Ankalaev for showing great heart and warrior spirit when Blachowicz famously kicked both of his legs, but the Russian didn’t give up and then turned the fight in his favor.

A lot of fighters are in the UFC just for the money?

Jiri Prochazka expects to be out for six months. However, in January, Glover Teixeira and Jamahal Hill will battle for his title. Teixeira is undoubtedly deserving of a title fight, however, there has been a lot of talk about Hill.

Hill was originally supposed to fight Anthony Smith, who will end up being the alternate for this title fight. That doesn’t sit well with Prochazka, but he’s trying to take the situation in stride.

“It’s a crazy situation. I think it’s a little disrespectful to Smith, but the division has to move forward. The way I see it, I’m the only guy that’s still evolving and showing the true potential of the welterweight division,” Prochazka let slip.

“There’s a lot of guys fighting to win just to make money. But that’s not what it’s about. This is about the best performance. We’re in the UFC and everybody has to respect that. We’re in the best organization and we have to perform some art that we’ve been working on our whole life and our whole career. Our division has to move forward,” he added.

That’s also why Prochazka respects the title fight that will take place in Brazil. He intends to fight whoever stands in his way. “I’m going to show that I’m on another level,” he encouraged the fans.
