The match between Persia Jakarta and Borneo did not offer much footballing beauty. The home team won 1: 0, which allowed them to close the gap on their opponents. However, there was another moment in the match that caught everyone’s attention.
Michael Krmencik had a disagreement with defender Diego Michielis, with whom they spat at each other. According to the footage, the Indonesian started it, but it is not sure if something happened off-camera.
After Krmencik spat, Michielis got angry and slapped him. The referee then went on to punish both players with a yellow card, with the Borneo player already having one and having to take a shower.
This angered him even more, after the red card he jumped on Krmencik and hit him with his fist. The Czech footballer slumped to the ground and then made the substitution.
It was so certain that this incident would not go without a penalty. Now the local disciplinary committee has finished its meeting and both footballers will not play for some time.
Twenty-nine-year-old Krmencik has been given a six-match ban and will not start Sunday’s match against Persik Kediri.
Persija only drew 1-1, with the well-known Ondrej Kudel and Yusuf Hilal in the starting line-up. But back to Krmencik’s penalty.
He was also fined 15 thousand crowns, the same money must be paid by Michiels, who will not play a total of eight matches.
