Mass crash immediately after reboot! More red flags in Saudi Arabia

Two red flags in a row, another race interruption! The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix has so far produced some truly heart-stopping moments. This time it’s a mass crash immediately after the restart!

Round 10 of the Saudi Grand Prix first brought a big crash and a hard crash for Mick Schumacher, after which we saw the first red flags and a race interruption.

On lap 15, racing resumed, but not for long. The restart brought a big crash, after which three more drivers would not continue in the Saudi Grand Prix.

Sergio Pérez found himself in a battle with the Ferrari after the restart from a strong position, whereupon he spun and ended up in the wall.

This then set off a chain reaction in the wall corridor, and in addition to the Red Bull driver, George Russell in the Williams and Nikita Mazepin in the Haas car will not continue.

Of course, red flags were immediately waved on the circuit and the race was abandoned for the second time today. After about twenty minutes, the race was restarted again from a solid position.

Esteban Ocon started from pole position, with Lewis Hamilton second and Max Verstappen third. To make matters worse, the Alpine driver made light contact with Hamilton at Turn 1 after this second restart, with Verstappen taking the top spot.
