After last year’s race at the legendary Monza circuit, the queen of motorsport moves to the Russian circuit in Sochi. When will it take place, what is the schedule and where to follow the race weekend?
Russia is the fifteenth destination we will be visiting as part of the F1 World Championship.
The Formula 1 cars first visited the Sochi City Circuit in 2014, with a total track length of 5,848 metres. The race is classically scheduled for fifty-eight laps, during which the drivers will cover almost 310 kilometres!
The fastest lap here is held by Lewis Hamilton, who set a time of 1:35.761 in 2019.
This race circuit is made up of eighteen corners, while it also offers us two DRS zones. The first detection point can be found at the end of the finishing straight, the second before turn 10.

Formula 1:: Russian Grand Prix – odds
This season, thanks to the constant work on the Red Bull monoposts, the differences between Mercedes and Red Bull have almost been erased. Therefore, we can expect an even fight between these teams, on the other hand, an intervention in the battle for victory by another team is not so likely.
