How is the former world number one doing? The British champion is only in the second hundred

Andy Murray has been on the ATP circuit since 2005. But the thirty-three-year-old winner of three Grand Slam tournaments has been away from the main event for some time. He is currently ranked 120th. Can he still return to the world elite?

Five years ago, he was terrifying his opponents. In 2016, he became the world number one, which he proved with triumphs at Wimbledon and the Tournament of Champions.

He also played the finals, albeit unsuccessfully, at the Australian and French Opens.

But then came injuries and several surgeries. And just like that, Murray was gone.

Due to pelvic problems, he even considered ending his career in early 2019. But in the end, he was determined to continue.

The three-time Grand Slam winner is struggling. The Scottish native hasn’t quite gotten into the form we’re used to seeing him in this year.

The current 120th player in the ATP rankings is still not hanging his head. Will we see his return to the elite?
