Václav Sivák has another win, this time he managed to beat Patrik Záderja and won the first ever RFA title. However, after the match he admitted that he didn’t train too much and enjoyed life.
Vaclav Sivak has match after match. This time he showed his RFA skills again and confirmed his role as a big favourite against Patrik Zadera.
This meant only one thing, the young fighter became the first champion of the RFA organization, which closed its first year of operation with the RFA 7 tournament.
Sivák won on points, but his fight with Záděra kept the crowd entertained. Moreover, he admitted in the post-fight press conference and interviews that he didn’t have much training.
“I didn’t train, it’s just the talent I’m showing here. I underestimated it because they gave me a late notice. They dropped Marpo, I thought I’d have a break until the end of the year.
I wasn’t supposed to have Deák until the end of December, and that was in boxing. That would have been easy money, so I just didn’t bother. I was enjoying life, I’m 23 years old and when you have 200 thousand in your pocket…” he said in an interview with Kaocko.cz.
Sivák was not the only draw of the tournament. Miroslav Brož, who defeated Michal Duba by TKO in the second round, and Tadeáš Růžička, who finished Denis Makowski by TKO in the first round, were also there.
