Conference league
Slavia will face a crucial battle for promotion. What line-up will they field?
It’s D-day for Slavia. If they want to advance to the spring part of the Conference League, they must beat Sivasspor at home and rely on Cluj not beating Ballkani. What line-up will the Susians field against their Turkish opponents?

Jindřich Trpišovský has finally managed to stabilise the line-up. The rotation is not so frequent anymore, Slavia has clear mainstays in the last matches, thanks to which they have won five games in a row.
Ondřej Kolář is now the clear leader in goal. Ales Mandous is injured, but even if he wasn’t, Kolář is in great shape and would probably defend his place between the sticks.
The defense has been the same in recent games. Lukáš Masopust is playing right back, Aiham Ousou and Taras Kacharaba are the stoppers and David Jurásek is playing left back. In the last three games (Sparta, Ballkani, Bohemians) the defence has scored only once.
Unfortunately Jakub Hromada, who is playing in great form, can’t start as he is not on the roster. He should be replaced by Christ Tiéhi again. Oscar Dorley has settled down at the number eight position.
Ondrej Lingr, who was rested over the weekend, should regain his role as a sub, but contributed 1+1 from the bench. On the left wing, Peter Olayinka is a constant, scoring twice over the weekend. On the right wing, David Doudere has his place, rotating well with Masopust.
There is perhaps only one question mark at the top of the attack. If Vaclav Jurecka were available, there would be nothing to worry about, but he’s not on the roster for the Cups. Trpišovský will choose from the pair of Yira Sor – Stanislav Tecl.
The former is a specialist for Europe, but he still hasn’t caught his old form. Tecl hasn’t scored a goal in the cups for Slavia yet, but his work is getting his teammates chances. That’s why we can expect the captain to be deployed.
Probable line-up of Slavia::
Kolář
Masopust – Ousou – Kacharaba – Jurásek
Tiéhi – Oscar
Douděra – Lingr – Olayinka
Tecl
