Talented and beautiful! 18-year-old football player of Prague Sparta scores points in the Miss Czech Republic competition
Women’s football is very specific. Women don’t have an easy time making it in the game because of the much worse conditions. That’s why it’s hard for them to focus only on this goal and they often have to try to push themselves on more than one front. The talented Amálie Koptová is also heading in this direction.
Women’s football is very specific. Women don’t have an easy time making it at all due to the much worse conditions. That’s why it’s hard for them to focus only on this goal and they often have to try to push themselves on more than one front. The talented Amálie Koptová is also heading in this direction.
Although its popularity is growing, its income is increasing and the interest in it is also rising, women’s football is still not at the level it could have been. However, the Western world is increasingly moving towards it.
This is not the case here. Our top competition has only two truly professional teams, Sparta Prague and Slavia. Slovácko, where some players have already signed professional contracts, is slowly trying to reach their level.
Still, playing football for a living is not a very achievable goal for women in the Czech Republic. It could be better. And maybe one day it will be. However, players who have talent are still trying to make it on multiple fronts.
In fact, sometimes it’s a real opportunity, which makes women’s football a bit more specific. Some female footballers are involved in social media, others in modelling. 18-year-old Amalia Koptova could be on her way to modelling.
She entered the Miss Czech Republic 2023 competition and has already made it to the top 20. Besides her football talent, she also scores with her beauty.
As far as football is concerned, she currently plays in the B team of Sparta. They play in the second women’s league and Koptová is one of the stable players in the starting line-up. The talented midfielder has a goal and an assist after eight games in which she has played.
Besides, she has made her way to the national under-19 team and her future in football doesn’t look bad at all.
