Summary of the 5th round of small-sided football: Prague derby belonged to Korab, Kolín celebrates first victory
Half of the regular part of the Superleague of small football is over. The Olomouc Mighty Ducks hold the top of the eastern group, the western group is more dramatic, the first Partyzan Příbram and the second Koráb Praha have the same points.
Let’s take a look at the individual matches in detail.
Jihlava – MF Blanensko 5::6 (4::3)

Eleven goals and five red cards, that’s the summary of the opening match of the fifth round between Jihlava and Blansko. The dramatic battle started better for the South Moravians, who jumped two goals ahead in the eighth minute, but lost 3:4 at half-time.
However, they had a better start of the second half when they took the lead back with three goals in a row and the decisive goal was scored by David Trajer in the 43rd minute. The end was marked by a series of five sending offs, two on the Jihlava side and three on the Blansko side.
Vikings Brno – MF Baník Ostrava 6::1 (4::0)

The second win in a row was recorded by the Vikings from Brno, this time much clearer than in the last round, when they beat Pardubice 4:3 only after penalties. On their home field they overcame Baník Ostrava 6:1, when they decided the victory with four goals in the 24th minute. The Czech national player David Presl was the most important contributor to the win with two goals and an assist.
Olomouc Mighty Ducks – PAMAKO Pardubice 8::5 (4::1)

Pardubice had another wild shootout and just like in the third round with Ostrava they failed. Then they lost at home 6::8, this time they fell 5::8 on the field of Olomouc Mighty Ducks. The Mighty Ducks built a decisive lead in the first half, which they dominated 4:1.
Although the PAMAKO players worked hard after the break, they could not close the gap. Ondřej Buček from Olomouc scored five goals. The Hanaks lead the eastern group by seven points ahead of Blanensko, with the trio of Jihlava, Vikings Brno and Baník Ostrava having only one point less.
Partyzan Příbram – Most 6::2 (3::0)

Four wins in a row and Příbram leads the western group of the Superleague of small football. In the fifth round, the team defeated Most, the champion Hanspaulka from the previous game, 6:2 on their home field. Partyzan jumped to a three-goal difference in the first half, Most corrected only with two goals by Pavel Exner.
Rytíři Plzeň – Vlci Kolín 1::2 (1::2)

The match between two teams that had not won a point in the first four rounds offered a goal-poor spectacle. All three goals were scored in the first sixteen minutes and one more was scored by the Cologne Wolves, who won 2:1. Both goals were scored by Tomáš Novák in his first Superliga match.
SC Koráb Praha – Hanspaulka Praha 3::1 (0::1)

Hanspaulka lost for the second time in a row, Koráb won for the second time in a row. And the triumph in the Prague derby is very valuable for the Prague Club Football League selection, the defending champions beat 3:1.
Hanspaulka went into the lead after a goal by Czech international Jindřich Novotný, but Milan Šídlo turned the score around with two shots after the break and Petr Novák sealed the victory two minutes before the end. Korab is on the second place of the Western Group table with twelve points, the same as the leading Partyzan, Hanspaulka is two points behind.
