Slovácko wants to fight for a chance to advance from the Europa League. On Thursday at 18:45 they were supposed to welcome Cologne from the Bundesliga, but due to the weather the start was postponed and the game was postponed.

The Moravian team is living its dream and on Thursday the traditional German team arrived in Uherské Hradiště. The match between Slovácko and Kolín was supposed to start at 18:45, but the weather did not allow the start.

The stadium was shrouded in thick fog and very poor visibility prevented the game from being played. The match was originally postponed by half an hour, but the fate of the match will be decided before 8pm.

It is worth mentioning that Slovácko can look forward to a sold-out stadium. Several hundred German supporters, who officially should not have been at the match, even got into the stands.

The postponement of the match to another date is also in play. The game could potentially be played on Friday. Both Slovácko and Cologne would therefore have to postpone their Bundesliga matches, but UEFA has priority so this would not be a problem.

You would have to be able to see the goals from the middle of the pitch to play. But that wasn’t the case. Moreover, the fans’ view of the pitch must be taken into account when deciding whether the match will take place.
