Cristiano Ronaldo is undeniably one of the best footballers in history. The eternal debate with Messi for the throne of the best is not necessary to discuss, but statistics do not lie and the Portuguese is the best goalscorer in football history. On that occasion, he was singled out by former Manchester United teammate, Patrice Evra.

This season has been the worst of Cristiano Ronaldo’s career so far. In the summer he wanted to leave Manchester because of non-participation in the Champions League, now he does not have the confidence of Erik ten Hag and just sits on the bench.

However, it doesn’t change the fact that he is still breaking records. Against Everton, for example, he scored his club’s number 700 goal. In total, he has 817 in his career.

Patrice Evra, a former Manchester United teammate, also paid him a big compliment. According to him, Ronaldo is not human.

“Cristiano Ronaldo is an alien. I won’t call him the best in the world because he is not from this planet. Players don’t reach 700 games and he scores 700 goals,” said Evra.

Ronaldo will be able to add goal number 701 on Sunday when Manchester United welcome Newcastle to Old Trafford from 3pm.
