Last summer was the last time we saw Conor McGregor in the cage. the Irish fighter broke his leg badly and had to have surgery, and now he’s about to make his comeback. Now he’s answering questions from fans on his social media.
Conor McGregor has been recovering for over a year from his last fight when he badly broke his leg in a fight with Dustin Poirier. McGregor has lost three of his last four fights, the last two being against Dustin Poirier, both of which he lost.
He plans to return to the cage soon, but no date has been given and we probably shouldn’t expect him back this year.
The Irish fighter also cuts his free time short on social media, which he manages himself. Now he has given his fans the space to ask questions and answer a few of them.
Once he returns, he has promised to wrestle in the welterweight division, where he will be looking to put on a surgically precise performance. “So far you’ve only seen half of what I can do, ” he tweeted to a fan.
He said his toughest opponent was Nate Diaz, whom he lost to first but then won. How’s his leg? “The injury is just a distant memory. The masters of their fields took care of it. Now it’s a deadly weapon,” he added.
McGregor has chosen Charles Oliveira, who is scheduled to fight Islam Makhachev soon, as his opponent. He favours Oliveira in the fight, but believes he can finish him by KO afterwards.
