There have been speculations for some time now that the Polish KSW organization might appear in the Czech Republic. Now the organization has basically confirmed it, but the date is still unknown. It is quite possible that the RFA will be involved in the tournament.

The KSW organization had a big press conference on Wednesday where they announced 12 galas for the coming year. In addition, Martin Lewandowski confirmed that four of them will be held outside of Poland.

It is to return to England, where it has already been once, then it wants to show for the first time in Germany and undoubtedly in the Czech Republic, where MMA is on the rise.

He didn’t specify a date, nor a venue, but the first venue is expected to be Ostravar Arena in Ostrava, which is also accessible to Polish fans.

What domestic fighters does KSW have in its stable? Michal Martinek, Magdaléna Šormová, Petra Částková and David Martiník are fighting in the organization. Of course, there are also Slovaks in the organization who would like to show themselves as well.

Moreover, it is quite possible that the Slovak RFA, which also has a lot of domestic fighters under contract, will help KSW at the tournament. In that case we could look forward to a very interesting tournament.

“We have, I would say, a very good and correct relationship with KSW now. We get along with each other and talk about things very openly. On the other hand, it has to be said that of course, if KSW wants to come to Ostrava, it’s unprecedented for us in a way.

At that moment, at least for that event, we are definitely not friends because we take it as a territorial thing, just like KSW takes it territorially as far as Poland is concerned. He does all the contracts and stuff like that,” Oktagon promoter Ondrej Novotny said in August.
