Recently, we informed you that a news item flew through the martial arts world about an MMA fighter who celebrated her fight victory in a rather unconventional way. That’s because Tai Emery showed her breasts to fans after her victory in a bare-knuckle boxing match.
The bold act brought about big changes in her professional and personal life. In particular, her social networks have experienced an unprecedented boom, which has had an impact on their income. Now she earns 600 thousand CZK a month, which she is of course very proud of.
A similar event happened at the weigh-ins of the American MMA organization Invicta FC, where Dominican fighter Helen Peralta showed her nakedness to everyone present. She covered her exposed breasts with tape. What was the reason for her act?
The motives that led her to do so were different from those of the Brazilian Emery. Peralta exposed herself to protest against the American company Disney.
She expressed her protest with the catch-all phrase “Fu*k Disney” on her nipple tapes. The fighter has already done a similar act once before. During her time on the TV show “The Ultimate Fighter”, she also showed her breasts.
But the scene was cut from the final product, and ESPN forced the fighter to repeat the cut scenes. The reason? Because ESPN is owned by Disney! But Peralta is a natural fighter and doesn’t give up that easily.
Disney has been the target of criticism this year for increasing the representation of LBTQ+ employees in their company. Among the protesters were Disney employees who were stripped of their jobs because of the company’s decision.
