Premier League reports a return to action this weekend, will all teams play?

With the death of Queen Elizabeth II, the English Football Association came with the news that football matches were being cancelled. It was to be ten days without football, so two weekends without the Premier League. But now the FA has come out with the news that next weekend will already be played.

With the death of Queen Elizabeth II, the English Football Association came with the news that football matches were being cancelled. It was to be ten days without football, so two weekends without the Premier League. But now the FA has come out with the news that next weekend will already be played.

The Premier League matches on the weekend of 11th and 12th September have been moved, but the matches scheduled for the 16th-18th for the most part remain.

For some, only the kick-off time will change and some have to be moved for certain reasons. The FA came out with this news today and it has pleased quite a few English football fans.

There will be two matches on Friday 16 September. Aston Villa will take on Southampton and Nottingham Forrest will play Fulham. Both matches kick off at 9pm our time.

On Saturday, fans can look forward to three matches. After lunch at 13:30 Wolves will play Manchester City, at 16:00 Newcastle will welcome Bournemouth on their pitch and at 18:30 Tottenham will play Leicester.

On Sunday, fans can look forward to two matches. After lunch at 1 p.m., Arsenal come to Brentford and at 3::15 p.m. the match between Everton and West Ham will start.

Three matches are postponed, the date not yet known. The games are Brighton vs. Crystal Palace, Manchester United vs. Leeds and Chelsea vs. Liverpool.
