Champions League
Barcelona has not overcome its phobia of Bayern. It has already lost its last five games to the Germans with a score of 4:19
Just when it looked like Barcelona was on the rise and could rejoin the elite, another blow came. They lost 0:2 to the unpopular Bayern Munich and had to suffer another defeat to the German side. The fifth in a row.

Thanks to seven summer signings, Barcelona has really picked itself up. Apart from the first game against Rayo Vallecano, which was a goalless draw, they beat Real Sociedad 4:1, Valladolid 4:0, Sevilla 3:0, Plzen 5:1 and Cadiz 4:0.
While some fans were already euphoric, the more sceptical ones were waiting to see how the match against the first tougher opponent would turn out. And it turned out badly.
Yet Barcelona put in a decent performance at the Allianz Arena and were the better team. But football is played for goals and the Blaugranas couldn’t score them. And so came the penalty in the second half.
Lucas Hernandez pounced on Kimmich’s corner to open the scoring. Barcelona’s old wound, which is defending corners, opened up again. This discipline is deadly for them. Four minutes later, Musiala crossed to Sané, who escaped all defenders and increased the score to 2: 0.
Barcelona lost to Bayern again, for the fifth time in a row. In the last three games, they have not scored a goal against the Bavarian side.
2022 Bayern – Barcelona 2::0
2021 Bayern – Barcelona 3::0
2021 Barcelona – Bayern 3::0
2020 Barcelona – Bayern 2::8
2015 Bayern – Barcelona 3::2
In 2015 Barcelona won the first match 3::0, if we go even further, in 2013 Bayern swept their favourite opponent in the semi-finals of the Champions League 4::0 and 3::0.
Thus, if the Culés come up against a Bavarian opponent, it never bodes well for them. They will have a chance to make amends on 26 October.
