Video: Incomprehensible! Fenerbahce fans chanting Vladimir Putin’s name during the match against Dynamo Kiev
Turkish fans are quite peculiar. Whenever their team draws an opponent in the European cups, they immediately overwhelm all their social networks. But this time something happened that is not excusable. Fenerbahce supporters invoked Vladimir Putin’s name.

The opening match, played in Poland, ended in a goalless draw. Dynamo Kiev flew to Turkey knowing they had to win. But it failed to do so in normal time.
Vitaliy Bujalskiy put them ahead in the 57th minute, but it wasn’t until Attila Szalai equalized for the home side in the 89th minute that sent the game into extra time.
The visitors were happier in that one, with Oleksandr Karavaev scoring the equalizer. The Ukrainian team was able to celebrate the promotion. However, what the home fans did was truly disgusting.
They were dissatisfied with the development and management of the match, so they tried to derail their opponent by chanting the name of Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia.
Almost every Dynamo Kiev player was affected by the Russian invasion, including the lives of friends and acquaintances. This behaviour is completely incomprehensible, although some are trying to defend it.
The Turkish side should be given the penalty of a closed stadium in their next match, punishments fall for far lesser offences. And this punishment will eventually hit Slovácko as well.
It will face Fenerbahce in the next Europa League double-header. Uherské Hradiště definitely has something to look forward to, as it has never seen such an arrival of football fans before.
