He’s an Octagon champion, he dreams of being in the UFC and that seems to be circling around him already. Now Losene Keita has also seen a significant move up the rankings and is surrounded by fighters from the best MMA organization.

Losene Keita has literally been hitting the jackpot. Quite possibly, even the promoters of Oktagon themselves didn’t expect the great talent they caught when they got him to fight Karol Rysavy. He defeated the popular Slovakian fighter and he did it in style.

He was then able to defeat Ronald Paradeiser in a five round battle and in the title bout, similar to how he destroyed Rysavy, he also destroyed the legendary Ivan Buchinger. He amazes everyone with his speed, stamina and ambition.

It’s almost certain that the still only 24-year-old fighter will make his way to the UFC. Already the top organization has him on its radar, and he dreams of making his debut at the September tournament in Paris.

However, Keita is still under contract for a few more fights in the Octagon and the question is what happens next. What is certain, however, is that after his win against Buchinger, he saw a significant move in the world rankings of Fight Matrix, which is considered the most relevant MMA ranking site.

For some time, the server erroneously calculated that Keita had succumbed to Rysavy, but the error has been corrected and the Octagon champion can be found in the top 100 lightweights in the world. He defends a beautiful 87th place.

Interestingly, he is surrounded by fighters from the best organizations. Right in front of him are two UFC fighters, behind him there is one Bellator fighter and another UFC fighter, who will also soon face Slovakian Ludovít Klein.
