Fanzone in Eden will make the Nations League more interesting for spectators

The Czech national football team will have a busy schedule in the first half of June. The four-match Nations League series will kick off with a duel with Switzerland on home soil, followed three days later by a clash against Spain. Both encounters will be hosted at Sinobo Stadium, which will feature a fanzone.

People will be able to visit the Fortuna Fanpark between Thursday 2 June and Sunday 5 June, when the national team will start its journey through the most prestigious A-League in the still relatively young European national team competition.

For those who come, a programme of concerts, interviews with celebrities, autograph sessions or even a live broadcast of Friday’s match between the Czech ‘lion cubs’ and England in the U21 European Championship qualifiers is prepared.

There will also be stands of the national team partners and refreshments. The visual appearance of the fanzone will correspond with the new graphic identity recently introduced by the Football Association of the Czech Republic.

Admission is free, so no ticket is needed to enter the stadium. However, tickets for both home games are still available.

After the Swiss-Spanish programme in Prague, the Czech footballers will play two matches on the Iberian Peninsula. On Thursday 9 June, they will first face Portugal in Lisbon, followed by a second match against the Spaniards. This will take place in Málaga on Sunday 12 June.

The national team will complete this year’s Nations League group in September, when the remaining matches against the Portuguese and the Swiss will take place. The Czech national football team will thus face quality confrontations with leading European teams this year, who, unlike Jaroslav Šilhavy’s team, have managed to qualify for the World Cup in Qatar.
