You want to go to Real Madrid all your life and end up in Barcelona? Lewandowski’s former agent doesn’t understand

Robert Lewandowski wants to leave Bayern Munich, according to his agent he does not feel respected by the club’s management. Barcelona is very interested, but this transfer would hardly bite the former agent of the Polish superstar.

Lewandowski moved from Lech Poznan to Borussia Dortmund when he was very young, where he made a big name for himself. He started scoring goals like a treadmill, winning the Bundesliga twice and reaching the Champions League final. He later moved to Bayern Munich, where he became one of the best strikers in the world.

Now, at 33, his career seems to be entering its final phase and Lewandowski does not want to link it with Bayern, where he has been for eight years. According to his agent, he is unhappy with the Bavarians’ management, who have not shown him enough respect.

And so talk of a transfer to Barcelona, which is very interested in the Polish goal scorer, has begun to abound. Lewandowski’s agent Mini Zahavi has hinted at his charge’s desire to leave for Catalonia.

But that is something Maik Barthel, Lewandowski’s agent, cannot understand. And he has made his disapproval of the move to Catalonia known on Twitter.

“All your life you want to go to Real Madrid and then maybe end up in Barcelona? OK,” Barthel wrote.

The Munich sniper’s transfer seems inevitable. He may have one more season left on his contract at Bayern, but according to his current agent, it would not be the best solution.

“Of course Bayern can keep Lewandowski for one more year, after all he is under contract until 2023. But I wouldn’t recommend them to do that. For Robert Lewandowski, Bayern is history,” Zahavi said pointedly.
