Schalke 04 with Spartan Vindheim promoted to the Bundesliga!

The famous German club Schalke 04 returns to the top German league. The team around sharpshooter Simon Terodde secured promotion in the penultimate round and is close to winning the league.

The team from Gelsenkirchen surprised many football fans in the 2020/21 season when they finished 18th in the Bundesliga and were relegated to the second league.

The Blue and Whites were 0:2 down in the match, but then managed to turn it around and were able to celebrate. Spartan Andreas Vindheim, who is a guest of Schalke, also spent almost an hour on the pitch.

However, the German team has a transfer option and it is questionable whether it was not obligatory in case of promotion to the Bundesliga. However, given how often the Norwegian is starting, he is expected to stay at the club.

Schalke Nürnberg will be his last opponent this season. The latter lost promotion with poor results at the end of the league.

How are things looking at the top? Second-placed Hamburg and third-placed Darmstadt have 57 points and can no longer catch first-placed Schalke with 62 points. Only Bremen can threaten the top spot, they also have 57 points, but they still have a double-header with Aue and Regensburg.
