In a rather controversial move, the I Am Fighter organization has decided to have a fight between two children at its IAF4 tournament on Saturday.

“We want to give the youngsters a chance, develop their talent and most importantly to keep the safety of the fights under modified rules of course. That’s why at #IAF4 you will see a fight between two mini-boys who love combat sports,” the organization announced.

This will be a fight unprecedented in the Czech MMA scene, with eight-year-old Nikolas Novák and seven-year-old Milan Flégr facing each other.

The organization announced this duel on Tuesday and regularly brushes off negative comments that allude to the age of both fighters.

But it seems that he is not going to back down and will make the dream of two first graders come true. According to Novak’s description, he even trains 5 times a week, which is a really high number at his age.

The rules are supposed to be modified, meaning no headbutts, but the organization has not yet given an official statement on the rule modification.
